The man cannot help it...it is in their DNA!

I learned that men have this biological chemical variation called the vasopressin recepetor gene. Males who have this gene are proned to be a trusting, realiable sexual parnter. Those who lack the vasopressin receptor gene, are disloyal and seek sexual variety elsewhere. Shocking!?

This explains why some men stray from relationships, they seek out more than what they already have. This is a great explanation at one of the many reasons why men seek out more. Sorry ladies, this is apparently true, but it also explains that it is sometimes not your fault. Men will be men, it doesn't mean that the female was in the wrong.

My very first...

It is simply amazing how others can be clueless to the general courtesy of disclosure. For those people who reject someone via email, FRACK U!

I understand all the possible barriers that may limit someone to addressing the situation appropriately, but really? To send a rejection email to a group of people without hiding the other victims....well, where's the courtesy in this? Maybe we can contact each other to comiserate together or plot something...

My very first, mass rejection via email. Whatever frackin people. I now have a better understanding of the level of respect and professionalism you are in.

A definite WHAT THE FRACK moment. Ces't la vie!

I was never told....

I was never told that maintaining healthy friendships are difficult. While relationships are based upon the exchange with one another, I did not realize that constant communication is required. I had considered the friend as part of my family. I expected them to understand and love me unconditionally. I was wrong. I was wrong to expect anything.

Since then, I have learned to lower any expectations and to love unconditionally. I realize that the relationships we have take maintenance, but it also takes unrelentless acceptance. No one should be judged.

When codependency is the foundation of one person, it makes the relationship difficult and toxic. When one person chooses to address the problem and decides to end all over-bearing relations, they look like the bad person.

Bad person? I don't think so. More like courageous person! Kudos to those who can leave that codependent relationship. Props to those who choose to leave the toxic realtionship. Congrats to those who have finally decided to live their own healthy and happy life.

No one needs (nor deserves) to be treated like a doormat.

Make the choice...take a stand!

Take responsibility and stop talking out of your arse!

I notice that people like to spew motivational comments when they are unable to practice what they preach. Hypocrites! Talk the truth and stop talking out of your ass! You look like a fool, lose all credibility, and lose any respect I may have had for you. My expectation of general goodness is lost on those who just can not manage to be honest. What is there to hide?

If you have something to say, make sure that you actually believe what is being said. Talking shit only enforces your idiocracy and lunacy!

Earth Day

In homage to Earth Day (and because I'm experiencing a minor case of A.D.D.), I decided to walk outside and capture the beauty of the outdoors:

A healthy start...

In my attempts to get healthier, my friend and I began walking. This day, we walked on Kailua beach and the water was super crowded with kite surfers. With the wind and rain, we walk down the beach. With so many kite surfers in the water, I thought they looked like Iwa birds.

Back in the day, before the world knew about kite surfing, I watched this lone guy sail up and down Kailua beach. At the time I thought, "This guy is a genius. Who the heck is he? Whoa he's getting major aerials out there!" Soon enough, I learnt that it was Robby Naish. Well, I'm not suprised. I'd like to say that I was one of the first to witness the sport in the making. Now...the waters are infultrated with so many kite surfers, it looks a bit crazy. I wonder, with the amount of people out there, a regular boater can't make there way through. Well, tuff sh** for them I guess.

So back to the exercise regime...well, I guess it's not much of an exercise when our water bottles are filled with New Castle and a Vodka cocktail. What the hell...we will persevere and make it to the trails of Daimond Head.

The Golden Opulence Sundae....really?

Yes folks, you are actually seeing the cost of a fracking ice cream sundae, being served at the acclaimed eatery Serendipity. How can they even suggest a $1000 priced dessert? According to their website, you must order this in advance and reservations are required. Really? I can't even imagine the calorie intake; probably enough to last you a week. Opulence they call it, I say insane! It's ludicrous to imagine such an extravagence. A dessert that will be done in a matter of minutes can pay for one months rent, two months worth of gas, a bunch of Coach purses, even two pairs of nicely expensive shoes. Get real folks!
